MOCA MIX – Film & Fashion Show

Friday, October 28th at 8:30PM, everyone’s invited to the Cleveland’s Museum of Contemporary Art for a sampling of HERO TOMORROW. The film is approximately 102 minutes right now, and we’ll be showing somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 minutes.* In addition, before the show, our good friends myley (www.myley.com) will be unveiling their 2006 collection, and Hero Tomorrow’s principal costumer Alexandra Underhill (www.artofxan.com) will also be displaying some of her costumes. As a bonus for the hard core comic book fans - MOCA has some original R. CRUMB pages on display as part of their “Drawn to Cleveland” exhibit!
More details here. FILM & FASHION.

In other HT news we recently had a wonderful focus group with Cleveland’s Godfather of filmmaking - Robert Banks (who knows more about film and movies – truly - than anyone I’ve ever met), Post Blur Video editor – Mimma Catalano, and Clockwork Universe’s Stephen Mercyhill. We spent one night with the trio going over the film in its entirety, and then a second night scene by scene. Our eternal thanks goes out to them for their many keen insights, critiques, and ideas.

Milo's Scriptwriting/Film Appreciation Group

HT co-writer and producer Milo Miller would like to let anyone interested know about a Scriptwriting/Film Appreciation group he's running at the Westlake Borders Books and Music. It meets every second Tuesday at 7:30. "The meetings are very unstructured and free-form. It's not a class, more just discussion. But we try to approach things from a story/scriptwriting angle. Past groups we've discussed Syd Feild's work and Robert McKee's Story. Last month we broke down David Fincher's Seven and Fight Club. The Oct 11 meeting we're going to tackle horror films--the best, worst, most unusual...The group is very informal and open to all. I'd love to see some new folks. (Also if you're interested in running a session or want to share a particular passion or script with the group let me know.)"
